We're Alex Ottolini and Vaughn Rakowski — local student founders of A&V Lawn and Home Care. We help families improve and maintain their outdoor and indoor spaces with lawn care, garden design, and home upkeep.

Yes, package retrieval is included in every plan. Just let us know where you'd like packages placed once they're brought in.
We'll contact you immediately, send photos of what we found, and follow any instructions you've provided in advance. We'll never make decisions about your property without your input.

We mainly care for dogs and cats, but may be able to accommodate other animals upon request. Reach out and let us know what you have and we'll let you know if we're a good fit.
It depends on the plan and your pet's needs — anywhere from one visit a day with our Basic plan, up to two visits a day with our Daily Care Plan. We can also work out a custom schedule if needed.
Yes, medicine administration is available as a free add-on with any plan. Just walk us through your pet's routine beforehand.
Yes. Every visit includes a photo update so you can check in on your pet anytime. Videos are available upon request at no extra charge.
We'll contact you immediately and follow the emergency instructions you provide before service begins. We ask all clients to share a vet's contact info and an emergency contact prior to our first visit.

We accept cash, Venmo, and check. Payment is due after the job is completed — we'll never ask for anything upfront.
We're a local student-run business and are not currently insured. We take every job seriously, communicate clearly before work begins, and will always be upfront with you if anything goes wrong. If this is a concern for a specific job, just let us know and we're happy to talk through it.
